Roles currently available:

 

Business Unit Analyst

Applications are invited for a permanent Business Unit Analyst, reporting to the CFO.  The Business Unit Analyst is responsible for:

 

 

 

·        Forecasting: Preparation of annual profit Centre & cost centre (OMM) plans including year's labour capacity planning and shipment projections, Monthly forecasts (MML) including monthly labour capacity planning, weekly forecast comparisons to MML;

·        Regular analytical: P&L variance analysis, payroll analysis & reporting, Accounts reconciliations as allocated;

·        Overheads & cost management: cost centre oversight & corrections, accounting for payroll, SAP management of WIP & work orders;

·        Significant reporting at the local, APAC, P&W levels, and to other stakeholders as required;

·        Technical responsibility for: FX management including forecasting hedge needs and initiating hedge requests, Intercompany netting inputting, overheads and capital eCar reviewer;

·        Special projects from time to time: As required, for example projects around staffing numbers or costings;

·        Administrative: banking administrator, SAP orders generation (required to be separated as part of SOD), performance of SOX tests as allocated, supporting internal and external audits, use of ACE tools for process improvement, etc as required

Skills

·        Proven analytical skills of a high level

·        High level of computer literacy

·        High levels of attention to detail

·        Ability to work autonomously and be part of cross functional team.

·        Knowledge of SAP processes and transactions

·        Treating others with respect and empathy

·        Maintain a high standard of integrity and professionalism as well as being passionate about what they do

·        Ability to work with and communicate with all levels of the business personal

·        Driver of continuous improvement

Qualifications and Experience

·        Relevant Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent tertiary  qualification

or

·        Extensive experience in a financial analyst role, including:

o   Previous exposure to complex financial data analysis

o   Proven history of financial planning
