Christchurch Engine Centre is the trading name of the Pratt & Whitney Air New Zealand Services partnership, commonly called the PWANZS partnership. CHCEC maintains its close links with the other nearby companies or entities of the Air New Zealand Group including Safe Air Limited in Blenheim, and the ANZES engineering facilities in Auckland and Christchurch.
The PWANZS partnership is also associated with the Pratt & Whitney Columbus Engine Centre and its V2500 programme in Columbus, Georgia, USA.
