Parts Repair Capability & Policy

Christchurch Engine Centre offers a range of in-house certified repairs to both Pratt & Whitney and Rolls Royce standards, and is growing its capability in V2500 repairs since beginning in early 2005.

These processes include automated shot-peening, PWA110 surface coating, heat cured enamels and varnishes, antigallant for surface protection, plasma coating, TIG welding of aircraft parts, and spot and gas welding for surface refurbishment.

We also offer a certified range of surface treatments including Ni-Cd, silver, cadmium, chromium, copper and Nickel plating.

These processes are complemented by an approved and well-equipped in-house machine shop with skilled staff using milling machines, lathes, borers and grinders.
